About me

I Started playing guitar when I was 11 and I am 31 years old so that means I have 20 years of playing experience. I also have a master of arts degree in music education. Before that I studied guitar at conservatory for years and also completed two year studies in music technology so I have audio engineering background as well.

During my studies and ever since I have been working as a professional guitar player doing freelance work in various bands and projects. I have also done live sound work, recording and mixing.

As a guitar player i am well rounded and like to play and listen everything from pop to heavy metal all the way to jazz and blues. My teaching philosophy is making playing more fun and intresting and that in turn is going to make you want to practise more so you will progress faster. This process is called intrinsic motivation and there is a lot of good psychology research done to prove its effectiveness.
